ROBIN PERKINS
Of Counsel

Mr. Perkins has successfully practiced business and employment litigation for more than 30 years before California and Nevada trial and appellate courts. Throughout his career, he has successfully prosecuted and defended cases, conducting numerous jury trials, arbitrations and mediations on a broad range of legal issues including matters involving corporate and partnership disputes, fraud claims, contract disputes, construction defect claims, real estate litigation, discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wage and hour claims, securities litigation, and insurance bad faith claims. In 2005, Mr. Perkins successfully argued and obtained a unanimous decision from the California Supreme Court in an insurance bad faith case entitled O'Riordan v. Federal Kemper Life Assurance, (2005) 36 Cal.4th 281.

Mr. Perkins is licensed to practice before all California courts and the United States District Court, Eastern, Central and Northern Districts of California. After graduating from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, Mr. Perkins taught legal research and writing at his law school and at Lincoln Law School.

Mr. Perkins was selected by the Roseville City Council to serve as a member of the City's Personnel Board and then as the Chairperson of the Roseville's Personnel Board until December 2008.

Mr. Perkins has also been selected by the Sacramento County Superior Court and Placer County Superior Court to serve as Judge Pro Tem and has done so for more than ten years. Mr. Perkins was also selected to serve as a Neutral by the United States District Court, Eastern District of California. For the past several years, Mr. Perkins has conducted private mediation for parties and has received mediation training through Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.
